Meet The Characters
The characters in Izokay's writing are a diverse and wonderful cast, so we've put together this list to help you get to know them!
Before reading, keep in mind that an "Ever After" is a the title the main heroes and villains of fairy tales use to label themselves.
Queen Izzy
A young woman that is always ready for a new adventure. She rules the kingdom of Envansia with love and grace. Loyal to her subjects and friends alike, she does whatever she can to help those around her.
Jack
Jack is a mischievous ever after. Since chopping down the beanstalk and slaying the giant that resided there, he has been chasing down Queen Izzy. At every turn he tries to stop her and her adventurers as he believes that villains should rule the land.
Angelina/The Evil Enchantress
The main antagonist of the Envansian series, Angelina is Queen Izzy's nemesis, The Evil Enchantress. She wholeheartedly believes she would be a better queen than Izzy, and is the rightful ruler. After Izzy left the island, she took it as her chance and grabbed the throne. She is married to Jack as well as the mother of Livoutie and Bod. However, when Izzy decides to love someone, that is all. This has lead to Angelina being forever cemented as one of the heroes, despite her past.
Bod
Bod is Queen Izzy's right hand man. He likes to hang back and stay in the shadows. Always a mysterious fellow, he likes to be of help when needed. Even when in the front he prefers to have the other adventurers take charge.
Livoutie
Livoutie is the daughter to Jack and Angelina. Just like her brother Bod, she is a fairy forest sprite. She spent a long part of her life stuck in the evil queen's magic mirror. Ever since she was freed by Queen Izzy, Bod, and everyone else, she joined the group on their adventures. Helping however she can to stop the villains that come across their way, she is a loyal part of the Envansian adventurers.
Ma/Fairy Godmother/The Wicked Witch
Ma is the grandma to Phin, Linda, Queen Izzy, and William. She is also identified by the names Fairy Godmother and The Wicked Witch but first and foremost she is a grandma. She loves spoiling her grand, or even great grandchildren however she can. Known to always be up for a good surprise or adventure she's a lovely ever-after.
Melonie/Bell
Bell is the mother to Quenn Izzy and has been on her fair share of the family adventures. Good for information and helpful to her daughter whenever the need may arise, she does her best to help her family. Bell is also the ghost of Christmas past who helped Queen Izzy and some of the family go into Bod's past.
Captain Dale Hook
Captain Dale Hook is Izzy's father. A fan of adventure, he has never been one to hesitate before embarking on a new journey. He will hesitate however, to let his daughter do the same as him. Wanting to keep her safe from the danger that adventure brings, he stays in the shadows like Bod. Keeping a sneaky eye on her while she crosses the lands of Envansia, making sure that his daughter is always safe.
Phineas/Phinley/The boy who cried fox
Phineas is the oldest brother to Izzy, Linda, and William. He is always trying to protect his siblings and fellow adventurers even willing to sacrifice himself for them. Also the head knight of the Envansian round table, he never hesitates to alert others when there is danger even though he isn't the biggest fan of danger himself.
Linda/Cardinal Hood
Linda has been on many adventures with Queen Izzy, from Neverland to Envansia Linda has been by Izzy's side. A scared companion to Izzy, when an enemy is on their tails, Izzy is always there to protect Linda from harm.
William Smee
William is the youngest of the adventurers and has always been a sidekick to Captain Dale Hook. Since being in Neverland for a long time, he grows slower than everyone else. He has a keen eye and is usually the first to point out something strange, or if there is a villain nearby.
James/The Little Good Wolf
James is the only son to Queen Izzy and twin brother to Lily. He has accompanied the crew on many of their adventures and helped in a few of them too! James dreams to become a pirate, just like his grandfather, the great captain dale hook.
Lily/Lavender Hood
Lily is the twin sister to James, and Queen Izzy's only daughter. Just like her brother she has been on adventures with everyone while taking part in some. Lily aspires to become a detective that solves magical mysteries just like her aunt Linda, the astounding Cardinal Hood.
Uncle Greg/Robin Hood
Uncle Greg, also known as the legendary Robin Hood, is the uncle to Queen Izzy, Phinley, William, and Linda. The opposite to Captain Dale Hook, he tends to encourage the group rather than keep them from more adventures. Staying in the back with the rest of the adults, he tries to give the adventurers their room even though he feels like being up there with them.
Aunt Courtney/Snow White
Snow white is the aunt to Queen Izzy, Linda, William, and Phin. She loves to help the adventurers however she can but she is more involved with fancy parties and grand balls. Even while staying in the background with the rest of the adults, she feels it is her responsibility to help the young heroes.
Sabrina/Queen Pied Piper
The outspoken voice of reason for the group, she brings a cool head to the adventurers. As a wily and energetic crew, she serves as the responsible one to keep them from doing too much too fast.
Anthony/The Big Bad Wolf/Peter Pan
In any given situation Anthony is the man with the plan. It seems that no matter what predicament the party may find themselves in he will always know how to solve it. As a reliable and cool-headed Ever After he is the problem solver and plan-maker for the adventurers.
Xavier/Rumpelstiltskin
The "villain" out of the adventurers he always seems to bring a little more trouble than help. Speaking in riddles or causing a disaster, while not necessarily a bad guy he definitely enjoys to bring more chaos, confusion, and conflict.
